On Friday, Feb. 14, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s college team lost in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Friday, Feb. 14, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.

The game took place at Nick Denes Field. This was their second matchup against the Hilltoppers this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. at Roy E. Lee Field at Simmons Baseball Complex against SIUE Cougars.
