The Oak School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) organized a "Flowers for Teachers" fundraiser to mark Valentine’s Day, resulting in each staff member at Oak School receiving a bouquet. The event was coordinated by Ken Moy and Kristine Weck, who aimed to express the parent community's appreciation for the work of teachers and support staff.

According to the PTO, the bouquets were delivered to all staff, including teachers, administrators, custodians, and support personnel. The gesture was intended as a token of gratitude from families toward those serving the school.
