Former Naperville North High School standout Nicholas Solak’s current team, the El Paso Chihuahuas, beat the Sacramento River Cats 8-6 in a MiLB game on Saturday, July 4, at 8:35 p.m.

The game was played at Southwest University Park. It was the eighth meeting between the teams this season, with the Chihuahuas and the River Cats tied 4-4 in the season series.

Solak had no hits in four at-bats and left two runners on base.

The Chihuahuas’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, July 5, at Southwest University Park against the El Paso Chihuahuas.
