Meadowbrook Manor - Naperville ranks 3rd among Du Page County nursing homes in Q1 2026

Meadowbrook Manor - Naperville ranked as the third largest nursing home in Du Page County during the first quarter of 2026, data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) shows.

The facility offered 249 available beds—99 more than the county average for the quarter—with an average daily occupancy of 218.5 residents.

The CMS gave Meadowbrook Manor - Naperville an overall rating of 2 out of 5, below the Illinois nursing home average score of 2.6.

Dupage Care Center topped the list as the largest nursing home in Du Page County in the quarter, providing 366 beds. West Suburban Nursing & Rehab Center was second, with 259 beds.

Throughout the first quarter of 2026, Meadowbrook Manor - Naperville incurred a single fine totaling $205,215 and faced one penalty.

There were 31 for-profit nursing homes reported in Du Page County, Illinois.

U.S. Census Bureau estimates indicate the nation’s older adult population is rising while numbers for younger groups decline. From 2020 through 2024, Americans age 65 and older grew by 13%, while those younger than 18 dropped by 1.7%. The country’s older adult segment has seen dramatic growth, climbing from 4.9 million in 1920 to over 61 million by 2024.

A study published in 2021 estimates that nearly half of those in this age group—about 28 million people—are expected to need long-term services and support, with more than a third potentially requiring nursing home care later on.

“Living a long life is something that many of us want and could get,” said Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance, an insurance education organization. “But when we live a long life, the chances of us needing long-term care increase exponentially. But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
