Jon Adams takes the field as Nashville Sounds top Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp 8-3

Former Hinsdale Central High School star Jon Adams was in the lineup Thursday, June 4, as the Nashville Sounds notched an 8-3 win against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at 7:05 p.m.

The contest, held at Vystar Ballpark, marked the teams’ third meeting of the season. The Sounds now trail the season series against the Jumbo Shrimp 1-2.

Adams recorded 1 hit in 5 at-bats, striking out 3 times and stranding 3 runners on base.
