Jan.-June 2018 Recap: Parolees near Illinois zip code 60185 convicted of drug crimes
There were three offenders convicted of drug crimes released on parole near Illinois zip code 60185 during the first half of 2018, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the DuPage Policy Journal.
The data shows that one man and two women were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for drug crimes was 32. The youngest parolee was a 24-year-old woman sentenced in 2017, and the oldest was a 41-year-old man sentenced in 2007.
The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Jason M. Dulceak. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2007 when he was 31 years old. He is now 41.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
