Illinois Wesleyan climbs to ninth in D3hoops.com poll; Carthage ranks 25th

Illinois Wesleyan University has advanced to the ninth position in the latest D3hoops.com poll following their victory in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Tournament. The announcement was made on Monday, revealing that Carthage College is now ranked 25th.

The Titans, boasting a record of 22-5, garnered 382 points after securing two wins in last week's CCIW Tournament. Meanwhile, Carthage, with a record of 21-6, dropped two places after winning in the semifinal round but losing to Illinois Wesleyan in the championship game.

New York University (NYU), with a record of 24-1, has ascended to the top spot, receiving nine out of 25 first-place votes. Wisconsin-Platteville holds second place with eight first-place votes and a record of 25-2. Former number one team Wesleyan fell to third place despite also receiving eight first-place votes and maintaining a record of 26-1.
