Illinois General Assembly: HJR47 actions on May 8
The following actions were taken on May 8 in the House on House bill HJR47 ("coal ash task force"): "Removed Co-Sponsor Rep. Carol Ammons", "Added Chief Co-Sponsor Rep. Carol Ammons", "Added Co-Sponsor Rep. Dan Ugaste", "Added Co-Sponsor Rep. Nicholas K. Smith", "Added Co-Sponsor Rep. William Davis" and "Placed on Calendar Order of Resolutions".
The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Michael T. Marron (R-104) on March 20, "creates the Illinois Coal Ash Task Force to bring legislators, coal company representatives, environmental experts, and the public to together to study the effects of coal ash on the Vermilion River and the rest of the State," according to the General Assembly website.
