Grace Taylor, former Downers Grove South High School standout, played on Sunday, Feb. 23 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Downers Grove South High School standout Grace Taylor’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Syracuse Orange.

The game took place at Jack Turner Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Orange this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 5 p.m. at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium against Liberty Lady Flames.
