Gino Cozzi, former Downers Grove South High School standout, played on Saturday, March 15 in NCAA Division II baseball game

On Saturday, March 15, former Downers Grove South High School standout Gino Cozzi’s current college team, the Montevallo Falcons, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the West Alabama Tigers.

The game took place at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Falcons’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 2 p.m. at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium against Miles Golden Bears.
