Friends of Tim Whelan owes $1,125 in fines

The campaign committee Friends of Tim Whelan owes a $150 fine imposed on Aug. 30, 2018, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $975 with Randall W. Smith listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 23 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $136,584.23 in pending fines.
