Friday, Feb. 28: Lake Park High School standout Chris Worcester’s college team loses to Austin Peay Governors

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Lake Park High School standout Chris Worcester’s current college team, the Eastern Illinois Panthers, lost 12-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Austin Peay Governors.

The game took place at Joe Maynard Field at Raymond C. Hand Park. This was their first matchup against the Governors this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Joe Maynard Field at Raymond C. Hand Park against Austin Peay Governors.
