Former Downers Grove North standout George Wolkow plays in Winston-Salem loss Friday, July 17
At 7:35 p.m. Friday, July 17, the Winston-Salem Dash, featuring former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow, fell 5-3 to the Bowling Green Hot Rods in an MiLB game.
The game was at Bowling Green Ballpark. It was the fourth meeting between the teams this season, and the Dash trail the season series, 1-3.
Wolkow was 0 for 4, struck out twice and left two runners on base.
The Dash return to action Saturday, July 18, at Bowling Green Ballpark against the Hot Rods.
