Erin Metz, former Wheaton North High School standout, played on Saturday, March 29 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Saturday, March 29, former Wheaton North High School standout Erin Metz’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.

The game took place at Valpo Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Purple Aces this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 4:30 p.m. at Flames Field against UIC Flames.
