Ella Cushing, former Downers Grove South High School standout, played on Friday, March 21 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, March 21, former Downers Grove South High School standout Ella Cushing’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oregon Ducks.

The game took place at Jane Sanders Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Ducks this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 4 p.m. at Jane Sanders Stadium against Oregon Ducks.
