The DuPage County Public Works Committee will consider a  joint services agreement with Hewlett-Packard and a proposed budgetary transfer to cover public-works salaries for 2015 during Tuesday's 9:15 a.m. meeting in Room 3500B, 421 N. County Farm Road in Wheaton.

The joint-services agreement between DuPage County and Hewlett-Packard covers servers, network switches and miscellaneous information technology equipment for county public works facilities. The agreement would not exceed $60,000 if approved, in compliance with cooperative purchase-agreement pricing.

The committee also will consider a request to transfer $34,300 from the overtime budget to cover the final cost of regular salaries for 2015.

Among the other award bids to be considered are a contract with AMS Mechanical System Inc. for plumbing services at county facilities on an as-needed basis and a contract with Pest Control Management Inc. for pest-control services, also on an as-needed basis.

The contract for plumbing maintenance provided by AMS Mechanical System Inc. would start on Jan. 13 and extend through Jan. 12, 2017, for an amount not to exceed $50,000. The Pest Management Services Inc. contract would begin on Jan. 25 and run through Jan. 24, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $33,810.
