DuPage County responsible for 2nd-highest sales tax revenue in Illinois during 2022
DuPage County taxpayers paid the second largest sum in sales taxes in 2022, according to Illinois tax records.
In total, DuPage County residents paid $167.1 million in sales taxes during 2022.
DuPage County also ranked second in the Prairie State the year before, with $142.5 million spent in sales taxes.
The County Share of RTA Sales Tax accounted for the largest share of sales taxes paid by DuPage County residents in 2022.
