Downers Grove South High School standout Richie Sperando’s college team won in NCAA Division III baseball game on Wednesday, March 12

On Wednesday, March 12, former Downers Grove South High School standout Richie Sperando’s current college team, the Concordia Chicago Cougars, won 11-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Elmhurst Bluejays.

The game took place at Butterfield Park. This was their first matchup against the Bluejays this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at Zimmerman Stadium against North Central Cardinals.
