Downers Grove South High School standout Ella Cushing’s college team won in NCAA Division I softball game on Sunday, April 6

On Sunday, April 6, former Downers Grove South High School standout Ella Cushing’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Northwestern Wildcats.

The game took place at Sharon J. Drysdale Field. This was their second matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Monday, April 7 at 4 p.m. at Sharon J. Drysdale Field against Northwestern Wildcats.
