Downers Grove North High School standout Ava Gusel’s college team lost in NCAA Division I softball game on Friday, April 18

On Friday, April 18, former Downers Grove North High School standout Ava Gusel’s current college team, the DePaul Blue Demons, lost 16-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UConn Huskies.

The game took place at Cacciatore Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Blue Demons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 3:30 p.m. at Cacciatore Stadium against UConn Huskies.
