Daniel Sams appears for Harvard in 8-3 loss to Columbia on March 22

Former Fenton High School standout Daniel Sams took the field with the Harvard Crimson on Sunday, March 22, at noon, as the team was defeated 8-3 by the Columbia Lions in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup.

The matchup was held at Robertson Field at Satow Stadium, marking the teams’ third meeting this season. The Crimson dropped the series to the Lions, taking just one victory out of three games.

Sams contributed by pitching one inning and striking out two batters.

Next up for the Crimson is a matchup with the Holy Cross Crusaders set for Tuesday, March 24, at Fitton Field.
