The campaign committee Committee to Elect Steven G Watkins owes a $75 fine imposed on Feb. 27, 2015, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $525 with Eddie L. McCann Jr listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 172 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $995,091 in pending fines.
