Chris Danko, former York Community High School standout, played on Sunday, Feb. 23 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 9-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Jacksonville Dolphins.

The game took place at John Sessions Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Dolphins this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Lou Brock Sports Complex against Lindenwood Lions.
