Chris Danko, former York Community High School standout, played on Sunday, April 13 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Sunday, April 13, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 14-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.

The game took place at Duffy Bass Field. This was their third matchup against the Purple Aces this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 3 p.m. at Dozer Park against Bradley Braves.
