Chris Danko, former York Community High School standout, played on Friday, March 14 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Friday, March 14, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 17-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.

The game took place at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Leathernecks this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. at Duffy Bass Field against Western Illinois Leathernecks.
