Chicago Maroons secure NCAA Division III tournament victory with Kate Gross on roster

On Friday, March 13, the Chicago Maroons, featuring former Downers Grove North standout Kate Gross, clinched a 55-52 win over the Hope Flying Dutch in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, which started at 5:30 p.m., was played at Oshkosh Arena and marked the first meeting between the Maroons and the Hope Flying Dutch in the tournament.
The Chicago Maroons are set to play their next tournament game on Saturday, March 14 at 8 p.m., again at Oshkosh Arena.
