Catherine Nielsen, former Lake Park High School standout, played on Sunday, March 9 in NCAA Division II softball game

On Sunday, March 9, former Lake Park High School standout Catherine Nielsen’s current college team, the Quincy Hawks, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UIS Prairie Stars.

The game took place at UIS Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Prairie Stars this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 12 p.m. at Mart Heinen Softball Complex against Upper Iowa Peacocks.
