BENSENVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT 2: Calendar Survey - Tell us when you think the 2021-2022 school year should start

Bensenville School District 2 recently issued the following announcement.

District 2 is seeking parent input on the 2021-2022 calendar. In particular, the District wants to know which of two start dates parents prefer, and what factors influence their preferences.

The two proposed start dates are ...

• OPTION 1: Wednesday, August 11 (same start date as Fenton High School)
• OPTION 2: Wednesday, August 18

These two dates both allow the school year to end prior to Memorial Day while providing the District enough instructional time in August to implement a viable assessment schedule.
