Analysis: Woodridge pays $5.25 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Woodridge Police Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 84 percent of the $2,912,851 the Woodridge Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $5.25 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Woodridge contributed $2,447,309 to the fund, which saw a $230,708 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $465,543, or 16 percent, in 2018.
