Analysis: Wood Dale pays $3.89 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Wood Dale Police Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 79.1 percent of the $1,493,522 the Wood Dale Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.89 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Wood Dale contributed $1,181,162 to the fund, which saw a $90,793 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $303,265, or 20.3 percent, in 2018. Another $9,095 came from other unspecified sources.
