Analysis: Willowbrook pays $2.98 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Willowbrook Police Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 74.9 percent of the $820,302 the Willowbrook Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $2.98 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Willowbrook contributed $614,530 to the fund, which saw a $94,412 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $205,772, or 25.1 percent, in 2016.
