Analysis: Warrenville pays $3.80 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Warrenville Police Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 79.1 percent of the $1,271,071 the Warrenville Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.80 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Warrenville contributed $1,004,900 to the fund, which saw a $31,343 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $264,105, or 20.8 percent, in 2016. Another $2,066 came from other unspecified sources.
