Analysis: Villa Park pays $8.33 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Villa Park Police Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 89.3 percent of the $2,079,854 the Villa Park Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $8.33 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Villa Park contributed $1,857,093 to the fund, which saw a $230,856 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $222,761, or 10.7 percent, in 2018.
