Analysis: Villa Park pays $3.92 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Villa Park Police Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 79.6 percent of the $1,572,766 the Villa Park Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.92 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Villa Park contributed $1,252,475 to the fund, which saw a $13,808 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $319,406, or 20.3 percent, in 2016. Another $885 came from other unspecified sources.
