Analysis: Roselle pays $4.51 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Roselle Police Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 81.8 percent of the $1,513,876 the Roselle Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.51 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Roselle contributed $1,238,650 to the fund, which saw a $103,079 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $274,064, or 18.1 percent, in 2018. Another $1,162 came from other unspecified sources.
