Analysis: Roselle pays $2.86 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Roselle Firefighters Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 74.1 percent of the $390,831 the Roselle Firefighters Pension Fund brought in last year, or $2.86 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Roselle contributed $289,736 to the fund, which saw a $28,316 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $101,096, or 25.9 percent, in 2016.
