Analysis: Oak Brook pays $4.74 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Oak Brook Police Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 82.6 percent of the $2,355,414 the Oak Brook Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.74 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Oak Brook contributed $1,946,714 to the fund, which saw a $209,395 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $410,316, or 17.4 percent, in 2018.
