Analysis: Naperville pays $4.09 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Naperville Police Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 82.4 percent of the $8,771,358 the Naperville Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.09 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Naperville contributed $7,224,321 to the fund, which saw a $209,884 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $1,763,521, or 20.1 percent, in 2018.
