Analysis: Burr Ridge pays $1.87 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Tri-State Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 65.2 percent of the $1,061,764 the Tri-State Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund brought in last year, or $1.87 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Burr Ridge contributed $691,849 to the fund, which saw a $32,753 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $368,810, or 34.7 percent, in 2016. Another $1,105 came from other unspecified sources.
