Analysis: Bloomingdale pays $3.10 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Bloomingdale Police Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 75.6 percent of the $1,740,145 the Bloomingdale Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.10 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Bloomingdale contributed $1,315,957 to the fund, which saw a $46,294 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $424,188, or 24.4 percent, in 2016.
