Analysis: Addison pays $4.39 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Addison Police Pension Fund
Taxpayers contributed 81.5 percent of the $3,344,800 the Addison Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.39 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.
In all, Addison contributed $2,724,449 to the fund, which saw a $458,375 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $620,301, or 18.5 percent, in 2016. Another $50 came from other unspecified sources.
