The campaign committee 42nd Ward Republican Organization owes a $400 fine imposed on Nov. 18, 2015, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $4,500 with Eloise Gerson listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 172 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $995,091 in pending fines.
