As of March 9, there have been 3,949 Will County residents of 80 years and older who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
There have been 123,320 residents of 80 years and older in the county who had been tested, meaning that 3.2 percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through March 9, there have been 160,252 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 1,503 deaths from the coronavirus in Will County.
