2018 Recap: Parolees near Illinois zip code 60187 convicted of crimes against persons

There were six offenders convicted of crimes against persons released on parole near Illinois zip code 60187 during 2018, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the DuPage Policy Journal.

The data shows that five men and one woman were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for crimes against persons was 29. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced in 2014, and the oldest was a 38-year-old woman sentenced in 2017.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Juan C. Calderon. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2014 when he was 17 years old. He is now 21.
