2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Elmhurst?
There were two offenders released on parole during 2018 that live in Elmhurst zip codes, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DuPage Policy Journal.
The data shows that both of the released offenders in Elmhurst were men. The younger parolee was a 34-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017. The other was a 35-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2013.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Robert R. Judd. He was convicted of a property crime in 2017 when he was 32 years old. He is now 34.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
