Winston-Salem Dash top Hub City Spartanburgers 14-9 as George Wolkow plays key role

On Thursday, June 25, at 6:35 p.m., George Wolkow, a former Downers Grove North High School standout, helped the Winston-Salem Dash secure a 14-9 victory over the Hub City Spartanburgers in their Minor League Baseball contest.
The matchup was held at Fifth Third Park. This marked the 15th time these teams met during the season, with the Dash improving to a 9-6 record in the season series against the Spartanburgers.
Wolkow had two hits in five at-bats, scored two runs, led the team with four RBIs, struck out twice and left five on base.
The Dash are scheduled for another game against the Spartanburgers at Fifth Third Park on Friday, June 26.
