The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Wheaton rose by $9,500 while total sales decreased by 5.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 184 homes sold, with a median sale price of $302,500 - a 3.2% increase over the $293,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 194 homes sold in Wheaton in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Wheaton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $7,567, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
