Walker School students and families have recently completed a series of holiday activities aimed at fostering community spirit and supporting local residents in Clarendon Hills. The events included caroling, charitable giving, and participation in a neighborhood tradition.

On December 17, fifth-grade students from Walker School took part in caroling throughout downtown Clarendon Hills. According to the school, "Their beautiful voices filled the air, spreading holiday cheer throughout the neighborhood."

In addition to singing, Walker School families organized a donation drive for the People's Resource Center in Westmont. The school stated, "This collective effort highlights our commitment to serving the wider community and supporting the important work of the Resource Center."

Fourth-grade students contributed by making luminaria—paper lanterns used during Christmas Eve as part of a longstanding Clarendon Hills tradition. The school said, "We are proud of our fourth graders for contributing to this beautiful community event."
