Unpaid fines for Hinsdale-based campaign committees totaled $9,500 in August 2018

Campaign committees in Hinsdale collectively owe a total of $9,500 in fines, according to records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that two committees in Hinsdale were delinquent in payment for August 2018.

The Hinsdale-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was Hinsdale First, which owes a total of $8,775.

The largest fine that Hinsdale First has yet to pay was imposed on March 19, 2012, for a late quarterly report. The amount of this fine alone is $3,700.
