Sunday, March 23: Downers Grove South High School standout Ella Cushing’s college team loses to Oregon Ducks

On Sunday, March 23, former Downers Grove South High School standout Ella Cushing’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oregon Ducks.

The game took place at Jane Sanders Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Ducks this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 4 p.m. at Eichelberger Field against Northern Iowa Panthers.
